BillMaster97 was designed with absolute customer privacy at its foundation:
- Local Client-Side Storage Only: All your invoice documents, client names, phone numbers, item descriptions, purchase costs, profit calculations, bank wire details, and company logos are stored strictly on your device’s local storage (IndexedDB and LocalStorage).
- Zero Server Uploads: We do NOT operate any central cloud databases that collect, read, transmit, or monetize your confidential financial ledgers.
2. Offline Cryptographic Licensing
Our software licensing system functions completely offline using mathematical cryptographic checksums. Entering an Enterprise or Pro license key unlocks software features locally on your hardware without transmitting your identity or hardware IDs to any remote server.
3. Device Permissions & Hardware Bridge
- Camera Permission: Required solely if you choose to activate the Optical OCR barcode scanner to look up inventory items. Video frames are processed in real-time in local device memory and are never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
- Bluetooth & WebUSB Permission: Used exclusively to bridge raw ESC/POS text streams directly to 58mm/80mm thermal receipt printers connected to your device.
4. Third-Party Payment Processing
When purchasing commercial license keys through our official website, transactions are securely facilitated by PCI-DSS compliant merchants of record (such as Lemon Squeezy or Gumroad). We do not store or process your credit card, debit card, or banking authentication credentials.
